Bills and reminders
Forgot to pay a bill? What to do next
A due date can slip past while rent, internet and everything else compete for attention. Start by checking the record with the provider. Then make the next due date easier to see.

1. Check the bill and the payment record
Open the bill or customer account. Keep the amount, due date and any payment information. If you already sent a transfer or direct payment, check whether the recipient has posted it.
Do not assume straight away that the bill is unpaid. A payment can be pending, or the account can still show an older status. Keep any payment confirmation while you check.
2. Ask the bill provider to confirm the current status
If something does not match, contact the company or service provider named on the bill. Ask them to confirm the current status and the available way to pay. Their terms depend on the company, service and country, so their information is the reference point.
If the bill looks unfamiliar, duplicated or different from the amount you expected, ask the bill issuer or payment provider to explain it.
3. Record it and set the next due date
Once the provider confirms that the bill is paid, you can mark it as paid in Smart Bill Reminder. The app helps you keep bills and due dates in one place. It does not pay bills for you or confirm a provider balance.
For the next bill, add the amount and due date, then turn on a reminder before the date. That will not change the current situation, but it can make the next due date easier to see.
If you sent a payment but it is not showing
Keep the payment confirmation and contact the bill provider. They can confirm whether the payment reached them and how it appears in their system.
